Itinerary

Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary Day Trip – Full-Day Tour (SIC / Join-In)

• Escape the city and explore Malaysia’s wildlife conservation efforts in this memorable day trip to the famous elephant sanctuary.

• Meet rescued Asian elephants, learn about conservation efforts, and experience close encounters with these gentle giants in their natural forest environment.

8:30 AM – Hotel pick-up in Kuala Lumpur city centre. Begin the journey towards Pahang countryside with scenic views along the way.
10:30 AM – Arrive at Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. Visit the information centre to learn about the conservation efforts by the Malaysian Wildlife Department.
11:30 AM – Watch an educational documentary about the rescue and rehabilitation of wild elephants and understand the importance of protecting these endangered animals.
12:30 PM – Enjoy a simple local lunch nearby or at a local restaurant (own expense).
1:30 PM – Experience elephant feeding session and interact with rescued elephants. Guests may have the opportunity to watch elephants bathing in the river depending on the day’s schedule.
3:00 PM – Free time for photos and exploring the sanctuary surroundings.
4:00 PM – Depart Kuala Gandah and return to Kuala Lumpur.
6:00 PM – Arrival back at your hotel.
